Youth from across the city gathered in Pilsen this summer with the common goal to spend their free time learning new life skills while making friends outside their neighborhoods. We spoke to youth in a mural project, a kitting group and in a public performance class, all hosted by Yollocalli Arts Reach and After School Matters. They told us about their experiences working in this neighborhood and what motivated them to spend their summer doing something positive.
